Monday's News-Family Fun

Well, we had a great time Saturday with family. My S-I-L had a Halloween party at their business. There were costume, pumpkin carving, and food contest. We played games, danced, made things and had a moon bounce.
The weather was great! Not too cold and Sunny. Perfect for this outside event. There were a lot to people there and all the costumes were great and small children were just adorable. I was so glad we joined in this year. Oh you should have seen the looks from neighbors and drivers on our way to the party. In the over ten years we have lived in the area we have never dressed up like this. So I guess they were shocked!

The kids and adults swung at a pinata,
oh all the candy burst out.
We all dressed up....
hubby and I as...
G-man and Gypsy

Daughter and Critter.....
Smurf and Batman ...
oh yes that's G-man behind them.We had so much fun. I even won the four corners game! I was truly surprised.

Here is a photo of the whole gang in costumes.
On Sunday Hubby and I stayed in the house, "Crime Scene" taped in. While daughter went to a friends house to eat and trick-o-treat, for the first time in her life! We usually do not participate in this event. However this year with making the kids costumes, a family party and daughter being of the age to decided for herself, we decided to join in.

I wrote about Halloween and the origins of it yesterday. One thing I mentioned was the vandalism in the neighborhood. Well, that is where the "Crime scene-do not cross" tape comes in. You see we got some from the Crime and Punishment store and put it across the front Porch entrance. It worked no vandalism or furniture moved! Over all it was a quiet night. My daughter has a video of one of the dances on her site. Take I look HERE, if you have time.

So what did you do this weekend? You never know when you will need that alibi!
