It's Friday again, Time for a question...
So.... What are your plans for Thanksgiving, cooking in or eating out?
I am cooking at Dad's.. so that can qualify as eating out, since I will not be cooking at my home. However I will be cooking some things up next week and freezing them, to take to Dads. We are having Family over. My S-I-L with her husband, Critter and Alex, my 90+ grandmother and grandpa, My brother and maybe his daughter, perhaps my Aunt (she is in assisted living), the neighbors, Dad and my family. That's a total of fifteen to cook for. So you know I am starting my cooking early.
This year I will be using a Brine for the turkey. I took a class on it this week. I am looking forward to this Family feast at Dads.

I live in Canada so we've already had Thanksgiving. We spent it at our cottage in the woods on a lake with no oven. So hubby cooked a turkey breast on the bbq and grilled veggies while I made all the potatoes, stuffing and gravy on the stovetop. It was unusual but fun and best of all, delicious!
ReplyDeleteWill be cooking for Thanksgiving. Some family are coming and hubby invited so many people already!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Aloha Friday - Advocacy
Cooking in - my family is 3000 miles away, so it'll just be the 3 of us, but I still go all out! :)

We will be going over to my parents for a family get-together but then having a small family Thanksgiving that evening at our home. I love cooking for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI don't know our plans yet - I work in retail, so it depends on what time I'm going in on Black Friday! (our store opens at midnight)
We're heading to my in-law's with a dessert in hand. YUM!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to visit family back home.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure we are going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. My MIL always cooks the turkey the day before to make it easy for Thanksgiving! It's hubby's bd this year so have to make it big this year...lol!
ReplyDeleteI might be going to Iowa to have dinner with my daughter and her family or having dinner at my brother's like we do every year. Don't forget about this Monday - "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME" it's COUNTRY WEEK this week. EEEE Haaaaa!
ReplyDeleteWe might eat in. It depends if my husband is here or not.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be going to Mom's where we always argue about how to make the deviled eggs.
ReplyDeleteWe are cooking - but aren't doing a whole turkey, since it will be the three of us, we will do turkey breasts and then probably a couple of sides...
ReplyDeletewe haven't decided yet but my mom will be here so we'll prolly cook at home between the two of us and otherwise relax. ;)
ReplyDeleteHubby and I are debating on getting a premade meal from the grocery store or cooking ourselves. I'm leaning towards premade.
ReplyDeleteEat in...
