It is getting closer to Christmas day. Only eight days left! I love snow during this season. I guess it's because when I moved to Ohio, as a young child, and saw Snow for the first time, it must have impressed me. Every since I Love the snow. As a young child I lived in Ohio, Kentucky and New York State. All have snow this season. Even lived in a snow belt area. Then as an adult I moved to Colorado, Now that's a snow place! Then later in life to the Black Forest area of Germany. Snow all around me. Love Playing in it and just watching it fall in big flakes. Oh I just love this Snow Season.

Being from Canada, we are pretty much guaranteed snow at Christmas but I do remember the odd year when it was too warm and rained instead. Not the same. We need the snow to be in the full spirit of the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you!
Since its going to be cold I hope there is snow.
ReplyDeleteyah...

I do associate snow with Christmas even though I live in central Texas where cold to us is in the 60's. Thanks for stopping by Keeping Up With The Rheinlander's.

No. I don't associate snow with Christmas. I lived on an island and we didn't have that kind of weather, but it was Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost the same here in LA now.
Happy holidays!
Well I do associate snow with Christmas to some degree. I live in Ohio (USA) and we usually have snow in December but I hate it and would not miss it if we didn't have any around Christmas. It just happens to be here around the holidays.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm from the midwest, I most definitely do.
ReplyDelete"Oh Yes", Most definitely! Here in Connecticut our snow mostly comes in Jan/Feb and we spend wishful hours before Christmas "Waiting for at least a dusting". Snow here ALWAYS gets people "Out and about with LOTS of Christmas spirit"!!! This is my tribute post to My Snow for "Christmas in Connecticut" http://conghailecottage.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-in-connecticut.html
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday season... Hugs to you, Donna
I only wish! I live in the Pacific NW so rarely have seen snow on Christmas. I love snow and two years ago we did have a white Christmas...I loved it! ;)

I have lived in Alabama, USA most of my life and have never seen snow at Christmas. I even remember running around outside barefoot on Christmas day not too long ago. When I was a child it always seemed to snow around my birthday in January. It would be nice to see at least one white Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing worse than Christmas day with no snow. :( I gotta have SNOW!
ReplyDeletewell, we dont get it..
