Aloha Friday-National Or Local?

Here we are another Friday. Oh I dream of being in Hawaii and taking it easy on Friday as Kailani says they do. So what I do here is Post Questions, nothing to hard. Leave your answer and then you can surf over to An Island Life to visit other Aloha Friday bloggers to find out what the buzz is with them.

So Today Questions:

Do you stay up on the News and which one, National or Local?
Do you Listen to Radio, Read Newspapers, Go online or Watch TV for your news?

I Listen to the radio in the morning, read online in the afternoon and watch TV local news at 5pm. I do not tend to watch national news on the Television. Mostly because I live in the tri-state area I get news from Washington DC, hear the President weekly address on Radio. So I feel the National News teams don't always give the correct info and they tend to make more out of simple news. Their spin on the new is sometime too much for me. Therefore I do not listen to them often. I'm mostly a local news girl. However I do listen to the Senate, Congress and Special Interest groups in session on the radio. That helps me stay up on what's happening in Government.

So now it's your turn to answer, tell me how you stay up on the happenings.

  3. I watch the local news and sometimes go online and check out some things

  4. I try to stay up on things, but with two little kids I often avoid the news around them. Case in point was yesterday when my parents called from the road to get more information about the John Hopkins shooting, I knew nothing about it. Most of the time when big things like that happen I hear about it on Twitter first.

  6. I watch the local and national news on TV, and also go online. I rarely read the paper unless I'm looking for coupons.

  9. I like to stay current, but I don't like news hype that is not necessary.

So I'll use online so I'm not bombarded with stuff that I don't want to add to my stress level.

  10. Visiting from An Island Life...

I don't really watch the news or listen to be honest. I do like Nancy Grace occasionally, and I do try to somewhat follow local news!

  13. When I got pregnant I used to get really freaked out watching the news so I stopped. However before that I used to read the internet and watch morning news every morning before going to work. I still don't watch it too much.

  15. Not really a news follower, I have been known to miss the news but see the highlights through my friends status updates on Facebook, then from there I google and see what is going on! I know BAD!

  16. Hi Auntie E,
Thanks for stopping by. I am now your follower. I read the local news online. I watch Bill O'Reilly news and Hannity program late afternoon. In the evening I turn on the radio and listen to talk radio. I'm not too concerned with the local news but I like to keep up with what's happening nationally.
