We have the Discovery Place here in Charlotte and it is a great interactive musuem for kids and adults alike
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids were younger we'd hit like every children's' museum. The smaller ones were the more enjoyable usually.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit the Smithsonian one day with the kids.
ReplyDeleteThe New York Met or the Smithsonian. I can get lost in them for days!
ReplyDeleteChidren's museums are awesome. Kids can touch almost everything. I did visit a museum that carried items and clothing from the past generations and that was a lot of fun. It was part of the Smithosian in Washington D.C.
ReplyDeleteI love children museums! But I would really love to go to the Smithsonian one day!
ReplyDeleteI love Museums of Science & Industry. The one in Columbus, Ohio is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI think I love all types of museums. I have never been to a museum that I didn't like, but I have definitely wanted to spend more time in something like the Natural History Museum than an art museum.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get to the new Childrens Museum in Phoenix that just opened recently. I have heard such great things about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
We have a museum up in the big city (Tucson, Az) that is outdoors. It's called the Tucson Sonora Desert Museum & it is the best museum I've ever been to. We used to live close to Washington DC & I lived near NYC in my early twenties. I love the desert museum the best. Outdoors & learning so much. Great fun!
ReplyDeleteWright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio is really big and really cool museum. Lots to do with the history of aviation.
ReplyDeleteI love museums.. I grew up going to museum after museums! My grandfather has artifacts in several museums one including the Smithsonian. My favorites are the Science Museums.
ReplyDeleteI love science museums. The favorite I have been to is the one in Boston - amazing!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Hermitage and would very much like to go back and walk through it again.
ReplyDeleteHave to be Art Museums. Since I have always drawn and work with different mediums I just love going to Art Museums.
ReplyDeleteI'm so close to the Philadelphia Museum of Art - it's a fav!
ReplyDeleteHistory or science are my favorite types of museums. Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteI like art museums. Been to the Met in NYC, and we have a small local one, the Zimmerli, that I've been to a few times and like a lot.
ReplyDeleteI love museums! I wish that I got the chance to visit more of the Met in NYC. And I wish, I wish, I wish I got to visit the Musée d'Orsay in Paris - I loooove impressionism!

Well, now that I have a little kiddo, I like the children's science museums etc that cater to children's exploration...
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of very nice museums in Southern California where I grew up, and I was blessed enough to visit many of them. I've been to a lot of the museums in the DC area too. I enjoy museums quite a bit (if I'm not with a tour group). I guess, though, it sounds trite, but I think it would be really an experience to visit the Lourve in Paris. I don't see myself ever doing it as I have no real desire to go to Europe, but if I won a trip to visit any museum anywhere I would pick the Lourve at this point.
ReplyDeleteChicago Art Institute.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You've won 2nd Place in my May Top Commenter Contest.
I loved the Hermitage and would very much like to go back and walk through it again.
