Monday's News- A Filled Weekend.

What a weekend we had! On Saturday we went to the Home Show on the post. Met a lady name Monica, she does murals. I am planning a Spring Project, moving my sewing room to a larger room. I am going to be checking out possibly having the room painted by her. Need to be thinking about a design, she said she has some ideas. Do you have any ideas?

Hubby and I have been looking at some deck furniture. The price for my taste was in the thousands. What can I say...I Love the finer things in life and with that comes $$$$ signs. So I decided to lower my desires, to be able to feel good about the cost. We strolled over to the Garden center, walked in and right in front of the store there it was! The prefect deck furniture at a good price of under 600 dollars for all four pieces. It was very comfy and exactly what I had been looking for.

Sunday went to church, wonderful sermon. It was Palm Sunday so a great surprise awaited us. All the Thousands of children filled the stage and isles, holding palm leaves and signing a couple songs. One of the song was Jumping up and Down. I love that song and yes all the children were jumping up and down to tell of Jesus' coming. I cried it was just so spiritually emotional to be there covered with so much love for our Lord Jesus.
After the service we met the family in the cafeteria, Critter gave me a Palm.
We parted and Hubby, daughter and I went to Winchester Virginia for an open house. My Nephew and his wife have a New Home. There was a lot of family there, It was nice to see them all. My Nephew has a wonderful new home.
On our way home we stopped at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant for dinner. It was very nice and the food and sites took us back to our times in Bavaria. We will have to go back there some time soon.
So how was your weekend?
