Fridays Question- That Early Spring Feeling

We have been enjoying this warmer weather , one more day of it here. Then the cold returns and maybe some snow. I have a little feeling of Spring fever. You know the kind , When I want to get out and work those garden plots. Last year I was not able to do it, Due to a Broken Arm. Today I will get out there and work my new herb garden. Looking forward to that garden. I have a great big area that needs to be revamped.

That got me thinking, Are you starting or working on a garden? If not, what would you love to see in My garden?

  2. My husband and I took our kids to the park yesterday and it made me long for spring and summer. I'm a new follower from 'Boost My Blog Friday'.

  5. I love having a herb garden all Summer. I bring in what I can in the Fall but usually end up killing it before Christmas.

  7. We have three gardens. The largest is in two parts in the basement walk-out area. This devoted to flowers and shrubs. Beside the house near the back door is the "Granny's Garden." This features flowers, plum or cherry tomatoes, mint and New Zealand spinach. The latter is particularly welcome as we can use it for salad greens all summer long. It does not bolt.

The vegetable garden is away from the house, and we are more than doubling its size this year. There we grow beets, beans, tomatoes, peppers (both sweet and hot), summer and winter squash. We've tried raising corn, but find it better to buy from a nearby farmer.

Love the garden for beauty and good food from early spring through late fall.

  8. My hubby went out and weeded last weekend when we had some sunny days...cool but sunny. We always have a small garden going...love making salsa so do all those ingredients. Yum! This year we will add rasberries to ours.
