As I stated yesterday, Putting together my daughters bed was my days' project. It took me all day, I Started at about 8am, had a break for lunch, then at 2:30 I had to take my daughter to Cello Lesson, got back around 4:30 and finished at 7pm. I am getting too old for this kind of work!!! Oh Well they say you stay young staying busy......

The Pieces and Mattresses

More Boards

The hardware, Lots of them.

Bottom drawer Frame

This is the upper frame, Yes it is upside down.
I needed help to turn it around.

Next came the slats...That was the hardest part.

They slide in and out with the base.

Finished, daughter slept in her new bed that night.
She was very happy.

  5. Looks great, way to go putting that together all by yourself. Yikes, makes me tired thinking about it.

  7. Well done, Auntie E! If it were me, the bed would've collapse after 5 minutes. :D

  9. You did a beautiful job on the bed and be careful going out people are weird when snow storms are predicted. They all are in such a rush to buy up all the bread, milk, and eggs.
