It's Friday again, Time for a question...

So.... What are your plans for Thanksgiving, cooking in or eating out?

I am cooking at Dad's.. so that can qualify as eating out, since I will not be cooking at my home. However I will be cooking some things up next week and freezing them, to take to Dads. We are having Family over. My S-I-L with her husband, Critter and Alex, my 90+ grandmother and grandpa, My brother and maybe his daughter, perhaps my Aunt (she is in assisted living), the neighbors, Dad and my family. That's a total of fifteen to cook for. So you know I am starting my cooking early.
This year I will be using a Brine for the turkey. I took a class on it this week. I am looking forward to this Family feast at Dads.

  1. I live in Canada so we've already had Thanksgiving. We spent it at our cottage in the woods on a lake with no oven. So hubby cooked a turkey breast on the bbq and grilled veggies while I made all the potatoes, stuffing and gravy on the stovetop. It was unusual but fun and best of all, delicious!

  3. Cooking in - my family is 3000 miles away, so it'll just be the 3 of us, but I still go all out! :)

I don't know our plans yet - I work in retail, so it depends on what time I'm going in on Black Friday! (our store opens at midnight)
