Aloha Friday#8- Vacations Anyone?

Welcome to Aloha Friday. If this is your first time this is what it is about.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that one takes it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani, from An Island Life, thought that on Fridays we could take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, here's a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My "If I Could Blog Back Time -Thursdays" Blog was about Summer Vacations of the past. If you have time follow the link to read it, Very funny!!
Here is your Question:

What Was Your Most Memorable Summer Vacation as a Child?

Want to participate in Aloha Friday go to
An Island Life there you can visit others and Link up your post. It is a nice day of Surfing with Blog Friends.

  3. Piling into the back seat of the Buick Lasabre and driving out to Colorado. My sister got into a fight with my brother at a restaurant and poured the maple syrup all over him. AAAhhhh...the memories.

  4. It would have to be the 11 week road trip we took as a family (my parents, grandma, and younger brother) in an RV. There were SO many ups and downs that trip!!! Fun days at the beach or national park, crazy days in cities looking through museums, long days of driving and doing nothing at all, days where we were on each other's last nerve due to living in close proximity for such an extended period of time, and other days when we felt super close to each other. I'll never forget it!

  5. We didn't go on a lot of vacations, but my favorites were going up to Orlando and going to Sea World or Universal Studios.

    My Aloha Friday :)

  6. When I was a teen my parents were in a partnership for a houseboat on Lake Powell. We would go down just our family or w/ another family who was so close that you could holler for mom or dad & it didn't matter whose answered! All of us older teens (girls & boys) slept in the 21ft runabout & thought we were so cool @ keeping quiet. Yeah, sound travels really well over the water especially when there are parents asleep up on top of the houseboat!

  7. We went to all of the amusement parks in Orlando one summer. We keep talking about doing the trip again (it's almost 20 years later) but we can't seem to find the time!
